Peggy, Product Marketing
When you’re building products that can change the world, “as few words as possible” never feels like enough. I love the challenge of taking our latest and greatest and turning it into a story the world can understand. Whether it’s our clients, tech media, or the average online shopper, Symphony’s got something great to say to you.
Karen, Software Engineering
My first big project at Symphony was designing the entire flow for buying and sending virtual gift cards. This included everything from creating the database tables to perfecting a customizable email template. Clients love the beauty and elegance of the design, and that it’s now possible for their customers to buy and send last minute holiday gifts!
Riley, Solution Architecture
I’ve always been interested in web development but never had the opportunity to build my own projects. One of my biggest projects at Symphony involved building an interactive social video network for a client. It makes it easy for their customers to share “see what I won” videos and makes their brand so much more fun and sharable.
Stas, Product Management
Every week is different and each one is impactful. Last week, I got to talk to the executive teams of 3 multimillion dollar brands, finalize a quarterly roadmap, run an experiment that doubled key mobile metrics, and polished yet another much anticipated release with the development team. At Symphony, all that’s stopping me from making things better is how fast I can think.
Symphony is a pioneer of Commerce as a Service. We envision a world where commerce is democratized and billion-dollar ideas aren’t stymied by million-dollar startup costs. With our enterprise level commerce services, brands are freed from anxiety over operational headaches like web server overloads and warehouse fulfillment capacity. They can rapidly broaden their playing field because they’re competing where they excel–product creation and customer marketing–without being held back by platform restrictions.
We’re looking for people who believe in ownership and collaboration in addition to having a passion for commerce. From Day 1, you’ll be challenged to own a problem set, propose creative solutions, and identify the resources and support needed to get the job done. Most projects affect every part of our business, so you’ll build relationships across departments as well as with vendors and clients. Your learning will be as limitless as your curiosity and passion, because there’s no such thing as privileged information at Symphony. If you’re ready for your work to directly impact business, our recruiters are waiting to talk to you.
Symphony seeks engineers with entrepreneurial spirit; our technology helps people transform their businesses. When we examine today’s fragmented commerce infrastructure, we imagine ways to build the connectivity, speed, and scale that will change the way the world does business. Every Symphony engineer owns massive pieces of infrastructure, understands the interplay of commerce and engineering, and is passionate about individual projects as they support the company’s vision.
Are you ready to disrupt the way the world thinks about commerce? We seek outspoken go-getters who believe that a successful sales process is about identifying the perfect client-platform match. Our teams work closely with C-level executives to match daunting business problems with refreshingly simple solutions. We need charming, knowledge-hungry problem solvers with top-notch analytical skills to identify potential clients in likely and unlikely places. Occasional travel will be part of your Symphony experience as you find and nurture our next big client.
Work hand-in-hand with multi-million dollar companies as they strive to become “the next big thing.” Symphony’s Operations team is our front line, assisting and advising clients every day. We are looking for highly analytical, data-driven problem solvers; when you look at raw data, what you see are innovative improvements, solutions, and business strategies. Most of all, you must be passionate about helping businesses grow and establishing a partnership between Symphony and our clients.
